Constandine (Costas) Dimoulas
Constandine Dimoulias a senior researcher in the Greek Research Group and surrogate national project coordinator. In the INSPIRES project he participates in five Work Packages (Wp2, Wp3, Wp4, Wp5 and Wp9) although his main responsibility is on methodological issues and the implementation of Work Package 4 titled: ''In-depth analysis of processes of development and implementation of selected innovations''.
Constantine Dimoulas is Lecturer in Social Administration and Evaluation of Social Programs at the Department of Social Policy, Panteion University. He works also as researcher and Coordinator in the Research Unit for Health Policy and Social Services at Labour Institute of GSEE(General Confederation of Greek Workers). He has conducted 3 quantitative and 8 qualitative researches on the subjects of health policy, training and certification of qualifications, employment programs, social policy and integration of migrants in Greek society. He has also published widely articles and chapters on social policy issues. His forthcoming publication (co-authored with Prof. Vass. Fouskas) is called ''Greece, Financialization and the EU''(2013).
Despina Papadopoulou was born in Thessaloniki, in 1964. She studied Law at the Aristotle's University of Thessaloniki. She holds an MSc in Social Sciences (with a focus on immigration) from the Ecole Normale Superieure (Paris). Her Ph.D., entitled ''Policies for professional inclusion and social integration of immigrants and the children of the second generation of immigrants'', was supervised by Dominique Schnapper at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris). Since 1995, Despina Papadopoulou has been teaching the course ''Sociology of exclusion and social change'' at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens. She is currently holding a permanent position as an Associate Professor at this University. She was also involved in the post-graduate programme run by the French sociologist Serge Paugam, where she taught the seminar ''Social Exclusion and Integration in the Mediterranean Societies'', as well as in the Masters' programme of the Faculty of Sociology of the University Paris V-Rene Descartes (2009).
Despina Papadopoulou has coordinated 18 (national and European) research projects, dealing with social exclusion, social cohesion and migration. She has published a considerable number of books and studies on the above themes as well as on the processes of integration of vulnerable groups, particularly immigrants, the homeless, the unemployed and the young, with a focus on the children of the second generation of immigrants. She has participated with presentations in 65 national and international conferences. Despina is a senior researcher in the Greek Research Group and a surrogate national project coordinator.
