General short description of the innovation
Part of this Act is meant at rearranging the national system of matching supply and demand of labour, both public and private employment services. In particular: a) private and public services are placed at the same level and are asked for a stronger cooperation; b) accountability requirements for private work agencies have been ruled in detail; c) job placement services are extended to public and private universites, local authorities, upper secondary schools, employers' associations and trade unions; d) The National Labour Exchange (Borsa Lavoro) has been created as an on-line information database that connects private and public agencies with workers, sharing up-to-date information on unemployed collected at the regional level /
