General short description of the innovation
This Act: a) created a "Labour and social security inspection Departmet" within the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies aimed solely at coordinating all inspective activities regarding national labour legislation; b) at this purpose it established detailed rules for coordinating different institutions involved in such activities (mainly Regions and Provinces Administrations); c) and created a special body, at the national, regional and provincial level, to fight undeclared jobs (CLES); d) at this purpose established a conciliation phase prior to inspections and sanctions; e) lastly, created a database of the employers inspected /
