UK: Engagement Meeting

The Social Partnership Approach in Scotland
During the Inclusive Europe Conference in Berlin last week Marion Ellison presented a working paper called ''The Governance and Implementation of Social Partnership Approach in Scotland: Implications for the Inclusion of Vulnerable Groups and the Resilience of the Labour Market in Scotland''. She presented the paper during workshop 4: Policy Learning for Inclusive and resilient labour markets.23 september 2014
Workshop: Labour Market Resilience in Rome
The INSPIRES team from Italy, lead by Prof. Yuri Kazepov from the University of Urbino organizes the first National Workshop on the impact of the financial crisis on the labour market for vulnerable workers.The meeting, open to stakeholders and scholars from all over Italy will be hosted by the CNR - IRPPS in Rome on the 9th of October from 10h to 17h.
Researchers from Project Inspires will present the results of Working Package 2 and 3 and will discuss them in order to highlight the policies that can contribute to the improvement of labour market resilience.

Labour markets are slightly recovering
Across Europe there are signs that the labour markets are recovering from the economic and fiscal crisis. Although reforms are still necessary to keep this recent improvements going.An intriguing article about the recovery of the Spanish labour market can be found here.
